ECU Unlock Fee — Some models
Some Porsche models like the Porsche Panamera, Cayenne, Macan, as well as newer Porsche 911s (992.1 & 992.2) and the 718 Cayman feature encrypted ECUs that require an unlock procedure before tuning can begin. A $399.00 ECU unlock fee is included in the price for these models (NOT INCLUDED FOR THE 911 AS IT ONLY APPLIES TO SOME MODELS. FEE WILL BE CHARGED SEPERATELY IF APPLICABLE) — a necessary step that enables full access to the vehicle's engine management system.
